| 1. | Select Setup | Accommodations | Group/Location/Global Restrictions from EventPro’s main menu. |
| 2. | Click the New button in the upper right corner of the screen. |
| 3. | The Global/Location Accom Restriction [New] window appears. |

| 4. | From the Type drop-down list, choose whether you want it to be an Accom Group Restriction, Accom Location Restriction or Global Accom Restriction. |
| 5. | A global restriction applies all locations, groups and rooms. A group restriction applies to all rooms in that room group, and a location restriction applies to all room groups and rooms in the location. |
| a. | If you are creating an Accom Location Restriction, select a Location from the drop-down list. |
| b. | If you are creating an Accom Group Restriction, select a Location and Group from the drop-down list. |
| c. | You do not need to select a location or group if you are creating a Global Accom Restriction. |
| 6. | Enter a description in the Description field. |
| 7. | Enter the From Date and To Date of the restriction. |
| 8. | Select the Conflict Level from the drop-down list: |
| a. | Full: If a restriction conflict level is set as “Full”, you will not be able to book a conflicting reservation. Once a restriction with a “Full” conflict level setting is in a time slot, nothing else can use that time slot. |
| b. | Warn: If a restriction conflict level is set as “Warn”, EventPro will warn you of any conflict, but will not prevent the reservation. |
| c. | Ignore: Restrictions with this conflict level do not conflict with any reservations and will not be considered when EventPro performs a conflict check. |
| 9. | Under Options, check the boxes if you want to show the restriction on the Accommodations Calendar in the Year, Month, Week and/or Day views. |
| 10. | Click Save. |
| 11. | To edit, view or delete a restriction, select the restriction on the grid and click the Edit, View or Delete button to the right. |
