Creating and Sending EventPro Messages Manually

Remember that if you choose to use your email program for Messaging, you will receive messages at your User email address, and the following instructions will not apply to you.

1.If you choose to use the internal messaging system, you can manually create internal Messages in two ways:
a.Click View | Messages from EventPro's main menu to enter the Messages screen.  Click the Send Message button in the upper right corner of the Messages screen. The New Message window will appear.
b.Click the Booking Calendar button at the top of the EventPro Screen. In the Booking Calendar, find the event to which the message is related.  Click on one of the colored cells of the event and click the Message button in the Button Bar above the selection grid.  The Select Message box appears.  Select the dot next to Internal Message and click OK.  The New Message window will appear.
2.Once you are in the New Message window, the steps are the same.
3.Under Selection, click the dots to indicate whether you want to send the message to an individual User or an entire User Group.

4.From the Name drop-down list, choose the appropriate User Name or User Group (the drop-down list is determined by the Select From option you chose above).
5.Type in a Subject for the message and type the body of the message in the space below.
6.When you are finished, click Send.
