Network Configuration when Running EPWeb as Service

EPWeb needs to be installed on a machine running Windows 2000, Windows 2000 Server or higher.

There are two basic configurations of your network when setting up EventPro and EPWeb.  The following diagrams display these configurations.

If you want computers outside of your network have access to EPWeb, you will need to make that port accessible through your firewall.

If EventPro and EPWeb are on two separate servers, they both need access to EventPro's data (as EventPro and EPWeb both work from the same database).  If you want to have computers outside of your network have access to EPWeb, you will need to make that port accessible through your firewall.
