New Booking
To create a new booking in EPWeb, click the New Booking button in the EPWeb main menu.
In the Bookings screen, click on a cell in the booking calendar representing the date, location and start time (if on Day View) in which you want to book the event.
2.
In the New Booking page, the name of the Company, Contact and Email will already be filled in. If you signed in as the company, the Contact will be the default contact for that company. To make a booking for a different company, you must be logged in to EventPro as that company.
3.
Enter an Event Name. This is the only required field.
4.
You can also add Notes and Attendance and select a Category and Sub-Category, if applicable.
5.
Enter any additional information in Event Comments.
The next page is the Event Information page. If you selected a location that you found through the Available search above, the locations will already be entered for the event. If you started the booking from the Day View calendar, the location "From" time will default to the hour you selected on the calendar.
2.
The Status of the event will be automatically set to the status chosen for the Online Status in EventPro's System Settings. Remember that when a booking of this status is created on EPWeb, users set to receive web request will receive a notification.
Remember that you will only be able to choose from the locations, catering configurations and setup items for which you checked the Show on Web boxes and to which your Online Rights allow access.
b.
If you want to customize EPWeb for your company’s needs, you can remove the Edit, Delete, Catering and Setup buttons from this screen. See Server Configurations: [Event View] below.
4.
If you attempt to add a location that has already been booked, the pop-up dialog will tell you that the location has already been booked for a certain date and time. Click OK. Try booking a different location, day and/or time.
5.
When you are done adding locations, catering and setup items, click the Next button.
