Step 8: Locations

This is where you will enter the individual locations in your facility and assign setup types, features and rate codes to each one.
You can also add new locations at any time after setup, but this will create more work in setting up your User Rights. If you add a new location group or location after you have assigned user rights, no user will have access rights to that location group or location. You must return to user rights and assign the rights to the appropriate user rights group. Therefore, it is ideal to set up all of your location groups and locations at the beginning of the setup procedure, before setting user rights. See Step 10: User Rights for more details on user rights.

There are three sections to the Setup Locations screen.
| • | The top selection grid contains a list of the Location Groups. |
| • | The middle selection grid contains a list of the Locations in the Location Group selected in the top selection grid. Click the View All/View Available toggle button to move between a view of all locations and available locations. When viewing all locations, unavailable locations will be highlighted in red. |
| • | The bottom section contains five tabs: Features, Setup Types, Related Locations, Restrictions and Images. These tabs display the details of the room selected from the middle selection grid. |
