EventPro Software at ACCED-I Conference & Trade Show |

Just last week Troy Wruck, Director of Sales and Marketing, attended the 32nd Annual ACCED-I Conference (Association of Collegiate Conference and Event Directors – International) in Denver, CO. This was the 7th year in a row that EventPro has attended the conference, but the first year we focused on EventPro’s sister product, EventPro Planner Software.
At the opening of the trade show, there was an optimistic buzz in the air. Directors from around North America joined us at our booth, one after the other, and there simply wasn’t enough time to meet and greet everyone. Luckily, we had some time to catch up with others during day two of the exposition.
We were also fortunate to have been invited to participate in social activities, attending the Meet & Greet, the Region 5 Business Meeting, and the Region Dinner. It’s a great opportunity to get to know other ACCED-I members on a personal level and enjoy good company.
At the conclusion, we met with about 50 different colleges and universities, many of whom we will consult with in the coming weeks to gain further understanding of their software needs. Overall, it was a very successful event and we are pleased to have participated.

Did You Know? Backing Up Your Database |
|
Have you experienced that “Oh No!” moment, that sudden shock when you realized you’ve deleted something really important? That moment where you wish someone would hurry up and create a time machine so you could go back and fix your mistake?
Time machines still don’t exist but backing up your data is the next best thing.
We recommend you back up your database nightly, or more, depending on how much information you enter in a day. Also, it's a good idea to create an extra backup every time you undergo a big process that will make a lot of changes. Then, if something goes awry (human error, virus, hard drive crash, etc.), you can simply go back and recover the data you saved at your last back up.
EventPro doesn't have a built-in backup option because backup software is a specialized area and there are so many different products you can buy or get for free. We'll leave backup software to the backup experts. You should consult with your IT staff to determine if a back up process is already in place. If not, our friendly Support Department would be happy to answer any questions and make some recommendations.

Make the Most of Your Investment: Update Your Software |

The latest software update, Version 6.12.5.725, is now available.
With each new version, our developers add fixes, enhancements and new features that improve EventPro's performance and functionality. If you've been lagging behind in your software updates, the New Year is a perfect time to get your software back on track!
To download the newest Software Update, log in to the EventPro Support Website. Click on the Downloads tab and click on the EventPro Install V6.12 (6.12.5.725) link.
To access software updates, you must have a current Upgrade Protection Plan, a yearly contract that gives you access to software upgrades and updates, unlimited software support via email and phone, and more. If you need to reactivate your Upgrade Protection Plan, please contact our Sales Team for a quote at Sales.uk@EventPro.net or (306) 975-3737 (Press 1).
